Two weeks before the calf augmentation avoid the use of aspirin, ginko biloba and other naturopathic products.

During the calf augmentation the insertion of the implant is performed through an incision in the popliteal about 4 centimeters long. Calf augmentations count as routine plastic procedures. The chance for the occurrence of complications is extremely slight, but it cannot be excluded. These complications can be the following: infection, oedema, serous oedema, formation of the keloid scar, and asymmetry between the two calves.
