Dr. Elemér Illanitz

I have graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of SOTE Medical University. After graduation I worked for the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Department of Jahn Ferenc South-Pest Hospital. I spent one year in the National Oncological Institute, where I specialized in breast surgery, and then I worked for the Oncological Department of Szt. István Hospital, where I specialized in gynaecological tumour surgery.

I have been the Medical Director of this clinic since the opening of the Institute.

I find it important that we have managed to create a unique environment at our clinic and we provide five-star services unique in the Hungarian medical sector.

Based on my previous professional experience we formed the Gynaecological Consultation and Prenatal Care system, which contributes to a more patient-oriented environment and medical attendance in our Institute. 

In our clinic I have the opportunity to work with the most innovative, state-of-the-art surgical instruments. In accordance with the latest minimally invasive approach to surgery, we use laparoscopic surgery techniques, we successfully treat complex problems of the pelvis minor, and save wombs with uterine myomas that have previously been thought to be past saving.

My specialty is aesthetic genital surgery, which includes both vaginoplasty and labiaplasty (a plastic surgery procedure for altering the outer and the inner labia). In accordance with worldwide practises for reducing the duration of inpatient hospital care, the time patients have to spend in our Institute has become significantly shorter. Patients undergoing abdominal surgery arrive on the day of the operation and may already leave two or three days after surgery. Patients scheduled for a C-section arrive in the morning on the day of surgery and leave with their infants two days later.
