Dr. János Gács

He graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1990. He took specialist examinations in General Surgery in 1994 and in Plastic Surgery in 1997, achieving the highest grade on both exams.

Between 1991 and 2002 he worked at Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital, first as a Surgery Resident, and later as a General Surgeon. He gained experience and knowledge as a Plastic Surgeon Resident at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of Kun Street Hospital and at the Plastic Surgery Departments of Szövetség Street Hospital, and Honvéd Hospital. From 1998 he has been working as a plastic surgeon at leading private plastic surgery institutes in Hungary.

He is a member of the main Hungarian plastic surgery associations and the International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He attended several plastic surgery extension trainings and congresses (Hungarian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congresses; Breast Reconstruction Symposium, Vienna 2004; ESPRAS Congress, Vienna 2005; Central European Advanced Course on Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Prague 2006, etc.).
