Dr. Béla Ákos Molnár

He graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Debrecen in 1992. He took specialist examinations in General Surgery in 1998 and in Plastic Surgery in 2005.

Between 1997 and 1999 he participated in several national and international medical courses (Surgical Clinic, Albert Ludwig University, Freiburg im Brsg., European Surgical Institute, IRCAD, EITS).

His main interest lies very in laparoscopic surgery and microsurgery; he attended several national and international postgraduate courses and surgical classes in these fields.

Between 2003 and 2005 he gained experience and knowledge as a Plastic Surgeon Resident at the National Oncology Institute and at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of Szent István Hospital.

In 2011 he studied at Rice University in Houston, USA.

He did professional practice in 1992 at Traumatology Department of Debrecen University of Medicine. Since 1993, he has been working as a general and plastic surgeon at the First Surgical Clinic of Semmelweis University, where he is the head of the Plastic and Reconstructive Profile.

Since 2014, he has been a member of the plastic surgery team of our Institute.
